
Morgan's Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge shares the 1,800 hectares farm named "El Aguacate" with Desarrollo Ecoforestal S.A. The farm contains 1,000 hectares of precious hardwood trees and 800 hectares of natural reserve "Reserva Silvestre Privada El Aguacate". The reserve is approved by the Nicaragua government and MARENA (Ministerio del Ambiente y Recursos Naturales) by way of the ministerial resolution #12-2002.
The forested land and Reserva hosts a varierty of mammals like spider, howler and capuchin monkeys, deer and others, as well as reptiles and many native and migrant birds.
At Morgan´s Rock, we offer different culinary specialties by giving you a taste of fusion between Nicaraguan, Central and South American, French, and Asian cuisines. Some of the products we use are organically grown and raised at our Hacienda, including a variety of fruits, dairy products, meat, and poultry.
Other products such as seafood come from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Your server will inform you at both lunch and dinner of the different types of seafood listed on the menu.
