Romantic Weddings with Secluded Honeymoons at Nicaragua’s Secret
Eco-Resort
OCOTAL BEACH, NICARAGUA — Perfect for the discreet wedding, Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge, is one of Latin America’s leading romantic destinations (Trip Advisor, 2009). Just for the new partners alone or for a wedding party of 50, there is a wedding package designed especially to make the couple happy ever after and also delight their guests.
Although each package is custom-designed according to desires of the intended, the wedding packages for 2010 will start at around $1,200 for the couple and include the ceremony on the beach with flowers, followed by a reception with appetizers, a champagne toast, open bar, a four or five-course dinner with wine, a wedding cake and live music. The services of a lawyer and a religious representative are also included; photography is extra. Other extras can include the wedding service on board the 48-foot yacht “Argonauta” and a charge of approximately $130 for each additional dinner guest. All taxes are included.
The couple also receives one free night’s accommodation, a massage for two and the bride receives a manicure and pedicure as a gift from the hotel.
Additionally, discounted rates of 10% are extended for the honeymoon period in one of the fifteen hand-detailed private bungalows made of exotic tropical hardwoods with decks open to spectacular views of the ocean and forest. Each offers a king-size bed, a full bathroom, an exterior double hammock and an open-air shower. All meals are included in the rates.
The pristine, private beach and a unique 4500 acre protected primary dry forest environment surround the resort and provide the ideal setting for an intimate honeymoon experience. The secluded beach with private palapas provide a place for mapping out future life plans against the background sounds of the waves and wildlife while contemplating the crashing surf. La Bastide restaurant, which serves all local produce grown on the resort’s farm and fish caught by its own boats, overlooks a beautiful pool and the Pacific beyond. Morgan’s Rock is easily reached by American, Delta, TACA and Continental who all fly to Managua with arranged transfers.
