Explore the cloud forest of this volcano and the impressive views. Masaya: How about the idea of looking straight into an active volcano? The Masaya Volcano is one of the many active volcanoes in Nicaragua; afterward, you could visit the famous Arts & Crafts Masaya Market. Just 5 minutes from the San Juan del Sur bay, “Da’ Flying Frog” offers the longest zip line with a 2.5 KM long trek through the rain forest. The route is made of 16 connecting cables in 17 stations, mostly located on top of trees, with the longest cable measuring 328 meters (1,076 ft). The highest point on the route is 70 meters (230 feet) and can reach a maximum velocity of up to 70 km/h. The entire route is 45 minutes and costs $30.00 per person plus transportation.
